Gang Yao is currently a lecturer at Beijing Foreign Studies University. He obtained his PhD (funded by China Scholarship Council†) in Applied Linguistics from the University of Murcia (Spain). He is a member of the Spanish Association for Corpus Linguistics (AELINCO). His research interests include corpus linguistics, Spanish as a Foreign Language, and academic discourse.
